Rapid clinic test aims to slash wait time for STI treatment
NCT ID NCT07399873
Summary
This study is testing if a new, rapid test performed right in a clinic can get people with gonorrhea or chlamydia started on antibiotics faster than the usual lab test. Researchers will compare the two testing methods in 400 adults without symptoms. The goal is to see if the faster test leads to quicker treatment and more people finishing their medication within a week.
