NCT ID NCT04955821

Summary

This study aims to see if a new, faster DNA test can better identify the specific germs causing pneumonia in children who are on breathing machines in the intensive care unit. Researchers will enroll 400 children and compare the new test to standard lab methods. The goal is to help doctors choose the right antibiotics more quickly for these vulnerable patients.
