New tech could cut Kids' kidney stone procedure time by Two-Thirds

NCT ID NCT07299032

Summary

This study is testing a new computer-assisted system designed to help doctors find and target kidney stones more quickly and easily in children. The goal is to make a common non-surgical stone-breaking treatment faster and less dependent on a doctor's experience. Researchers will compare the new system to the standard method in 80 children to see if it shortens the time needed to locate the stone and makes the procedure easier to learn.
