Could a speedier insulin give teens with diabetes better control?

NCT ID NCT06948760

Summary

This small study tested if a faster-acting insulin (Lyumjev) works better in an automated insulin pump system for teenagers and young adults with type 1 diabetes. Researchers compared how well it kept blood sugar in a healthy range versus standard insulins (Humalog or Novolog). The goal was to see if using a special calculation to adjust the pump settings for the faster insulin improves daily diabetes management.
