Newer insulin shows promise for better blood sugar control in kids

NCT ID NCT04149262

Summary

This study looked back at real-world data to compare two fast-acting insulins (Fiasp® and NovoRapid®) in children and teenagers with type 1 diabetes. All 44 participants were already using an insulin pump system. The main goal was to see which insulin helped keep blood sugar in a healthy range more often and with fewer side effects.
