Faster insulin shows promise for better diabetes control in kids

NCT ID NCT04149262

Summary

This study looked back at medical records to compare two fast-acting insulins (Fiasp® and NovoRapid®) in children and teens with type 1 diabetes who use insulin pumps. Researchers wanted to see which insulin helped keep blood sugar in the target range more often and caused fewer dangerous highs or lows. The study involved 44 young patients at a single hospital clinic in Greece.
