One-Hour Finger-Prick test could speed up hepatitis c diagnosis

NCT ID NCT03767231

Summary

This study is testing a new, faster way to diagnose active Hepatitis C infection in the emergency room. Researchers want to see if patients prefer a new 1-hour finger-prick test over the standard blood draw that takes 1-2 days for results. They will also check if getting results faster helps more people start treatment for the virus.
