Could a 10-Minute baby monitor cut hospital wait times?

NCT ID NCT07250620

Summary

This study aims to see if a shorter, 10-minute reading from a fetal heart rate monitor is just as good at checking a baby's health during labor as the standard 30-minute reading. Researchers will compare both methods in 200 low-risk pregnant women in active labor. The goal is to make the monitoring process faster and less burdensome in busy hospitals without risking the baby's safety.
