Can a quick procedure make your braces work faster?
NCT ID NCT07239024
Summary
This study aims to see if two different techniques can help teeth move faster during orthodontic treatment with braces. It will involve 16 young adults who need to have premolars removed as part of their treatment plan. Researchers will compare a minor surgical technique called piezocision against an injectable gel made from the patient's own blood (platelet-rich fibrin) to see which one speeds up the movement of canine teeth more effectively.
