Scientists grow Patients' own immune cells to fight advanced lung cancer

Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether a personalized immune cell therapy can help control cancer that has spread to the lining of the lungs. Doctors will collect immune cells from fluid around patients' lungs, grow more of them in a lab, and then return them directly to the affected area. The main goals are to see if this approach is safe to manufacture and administer, and whether it might help fight the cancer.
