Heart attack recovery: could a 24-Hour hospital stay be just as safe?

NCT ID NCT06744322

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether people who have a heart attack can be discharged from the hospital after about 24 hours instead of the usual 36 hours or more. Researchers want to see if early discharge is just as safe and does not increase the risk of death, another heart attack, or unplanned heart-related hospital visits. About 2,070 adults with uncomplicated heart attacks will take part.
