Race against time: faster test aims to beat blood infections
NCT ID NCT07491419
Summary
This study is testing whether using faster lab tests to identify which antibiotics will work against a patient's specific blood infection can help doctors prescribe the right drug sooner. It compares these rapid tests to the standard, slower lab process. The goal is to see if getting results faster improves patient recovery and helps use antibiotics more wisely.
