Summary

This study tests new rapid tests that identify which antibiotics will work against bloodstream infections, compared to standard slower tests. The goal is to help doctors prescribe the right antibiotic sooner, improving patient outcomes and reducing unnecessary broad-spectrum drug use. About 400 adults with suspected bloodstream infections will take part.
