NCT ID NCT06992947

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether giving low-income families in British Columbia more money to spend at farmers' markets helps them eat healthier and worry less about having enough food. About 276 parents and their children were split into three groups, each receiving different amounts of coupons each week for 16 weeks. Researchers measured diet quality and food security before, during, and after the program to see if higher subsidies made a difference.
