Eye injection combo vs surgery: which saves vision better in diabetes?

Summary
This study tests two ways to treat proliferative diabetic retinopathy, a serious eye condition caused by diabetes. About 426 adults will get either eye injections of faricimab plus laser treatment, or surgery (vitrectomy) with laser. Researchers will track vision changes, number of extra treatments, and side effects over 3 years to find which approach works best.
