First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study follows over 1,100 people with atrial fibrillation who received a new treatment called FARAPULSE pulsed field ablation. The procedure uses electrical pulses to destroy tiny areas of heart tissue causing irregular rhythm. Researchers are watching for safety issues and how well it works over 12 months in everyday hospital use.
