First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests a new type of PET scan that uses a special tracer (FAPi) to find pancreatic cancer that standard CT scans might miss. About 60 adults with pancreatic cancer will get both a CT scan and this new scan so doctors can compare how well each detects the cancer's spread. The goal is to see if the new scan gives a clearer picture to guide treatment decisions.
