First seen May 17, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study is testing whether a special PET scan can identify an aggressive form of colorectal cancer called CMS4 without taking tissue samples. About 45 people with colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver will get the scan before surgery. If it works, doctors could use this scan to choose the most effective chemotherapy for each patient.
