First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested a special PET scan called [68Ga]FAPI-46 to see if it can better find pancreatic cancer cells in people who are candidates for surgery. 58 patients with early-stage pancreatic cancer received the scan before any treatment. The goal was to compare the scan results with tissue samples after surgery to measure how accurate the scan is at detecting cancer.
