Simple fan tested to cool heart Drug's harsh side effect
NCT ID NCT07268859
Summary
This study is testing if using a simple hand fan can help prevent or reduce shortness of breath, a common side effect of the heart medication ticagrelor. It will involve 110 patients in a hospital's heart unit who are taking this medication for the first time after a heart event. Researchers will compare patients receiving standard care to those who also use a hand fan to see if it makes breathing easier.
