Phone calls fight childhood obesity in rural latino communities
NCT ID NCT04731506
Summary
This study aimed to test a culturally adapted phone-based program to help manage weight in Latino children living in rural Nebraska. Researchers worked with the community to translate materials and make the program more relevant. Families were randomly assigned to receive the phone program or standard care to see if it helped reduce children's body mass index (BMI). The trial was terminated.
