Can a simple conversation cure clinic burnout?
NCT ID NCT06011239
Summary
This study tested whether structured meetings between different clinic staff roles (like doctors, nurses, and medical assistants) could improve teamwork and reduce burnout. Over 600 staff members from five family medicine clinics participated in sessions where they discussed what help they needed from others and what help they could offer. Researchers then measured changes in team function, compassionate behavior, and burnout levels through surveys.
