New app and coaching strategy tested to help families affected by addiction
NCT ID NCT07365293
Summary
This study is testing how to expand a support program for families where a parent uses opioids or methamphetamine. It will see if adding a mobile app and using trained local experts (instead of the original program developers) helps parents reduce their substance use and improves outcomes for their children involved with child welfare services. The research involves 254 parents across nine rural Oregon counties.
