First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study is testing a family support program called Promoting Positive Family Futures (PPFF) for families in Palestine affected by ongoing conflict and violence. About 300 families with a teen aged 13–16 will be randomly assigned to either the program or usual services. Researchers will measure changes in parents' depression, anxiety, and trauma symptoms, as well as teens' emotional security and behavior, over one year to see if the program helps families cope better.
