Phone coaching aims to keep diabetes monitors on
NCT ID NCT05854069
Summary
This study is testing whether a phone-based coaching program can help young adults with type 1 diabetes use their continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) more regularly. The program involves monthly coaching calls and text message support for the person with diabetes, with the option to include a family member or friend who also receives supportive texts. Researchers want to see if this extra support leads to fewer gaps in monitor use and better diabetes management over six months.
