Can a family helper stop kids from quitting weight management?
NCT ID NCT05403658
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a 'family navigator' helps children and families stick with obesity treatment programs. It involves 108 children aged 6-17 in Canada, where half receive extra support like appointment reminders and parking passes alongside usual care. The goal is to see if this approach reduces dropout rates so more children can complete their treatment successfully.
