Can family classes calm the storm of bipolar disorder?
NCT ID NCT06176001
Summary
This study tested whether group education classes for family members of people with bipolar disorder could help improve the relatives' own mood stability and reduce their stress. About 200 relatives were randomly assigned to either take the classes right away or wait four months. The main goal was to see if the classes made relatives' daily moods less unstable, which was tracked using a smartphone app.
