New app aims to ease stress for families at hospital bedsides

NCT ID NCT06463158

Summary

This study is testing a smartphone app called 'Family Room' designed to help family members caring for a loved one in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Researchers want to see if using the app improves caregivers' well-being, reduces their stress, and helps them feel more engaged and satisfied with the care process. They will compare about 100 caregivers who use the app to a similar group who receive standard hospital support.
