Can family coaching stop obesity and cancer?
NCT ID NCT05094466
Summary
This study tests whether family-focused coaching is better than parent-only coaching at reducing obesity risk in African American families. The goal is to find effective ways to lower the risk of obesity-related cancers that can run in families. Researchers are comparing three approaches: coaching for parents alone, coaching for the whole family, and providing educational materials without coaching.
