Summary

This study aimed to better understand the experiences of family members and friends who care for people with systemic sclerosis (scleroderma), a rare and serious autoimmune disease. Researchers surveyed 50 caregivers to learn about their quality of life, the challenges they face, and their relationship with the patient. The goal was to use this information to create better educational programs and support tools specifically for these caregivers.
