Teaching parents to care for At-Risk babies: a Short-Term study

This study looked at how a single family care education session affects parents and their at-risk newborns in the neonatal intensive care unit. 34 parent-baby pairs took part. Researchers measured parental depression, anxiety, care involvement, and baby pain at 10 days and at discharge. The goal was to see if teaching parents helps improve short-term outcomes for both.
