Scientists hunt clues in rare Family-Linked scleroderma
NCT ID NCT07343115
Summary
This study aims to learn more about systemic scleroderma, a rare autoimmune disease, by studying families where more than one member has it. Researchers will recruit 20 adults with the disease who also have a close relative with it. By comparing these 'familial' cases, they hope to find markers to predict disease severity and identify targets for future treatments.
