Summary

This study tested whether eating bread with added vitamin D can prevent low vitamin D levels in Irish families during winter. 128 people from different households took part. They ate either vitamin D-fortified or regular bread for 8 weeks, and researchers measured their vitamin D levels to see if the fortified bread helped keep them healthy.
