Summary
This study talked to older adults who visited the emergency department and were identified by a computer system as being at high risk for future falls. Researchers wanted to learn why some patients did not schedule or attend follow-up appointments at a falls clinic. The goal is to improve the referral process and help prevent falls in the future.
