New tool aims to predict kidney failure risk after senior falls
NCT ID NCT07158554
Summary
This study aims to create a risk prediction tool for emergency doctors. It will help identify which older adults (60+) who fall and remain on the floor for over an hour are at high risk for serious kidney problems or death. The tool will be developed by analyzing the medical records of 1,000 past patients to find patterns that predict who needs hospital care and who can safely go home.
