NCT ID NCT07163715
First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study follows 280 older adults (65+) who visited the emergency room after a simple fall but were not hospitalized. Researchers want to see how many lose the ability to do everyday tasks like bathing or dressing in the month after the fall. Participants answer health and activity questions at the ER visit, then by phone or online at 7 and 30 days. The goal is to identify who is at higher risk and improve follow-up care.
