Can group exercise beat home workouts for fall prevention?
NCT ID NCT07257315
Summary
This study tested whether a supervised group exercise program works better than doing the same exercises at home without supervision to prevent falls in older adults. Researchers compared two versions of the Otago Exercise Program, which includes strength and balance training, in 40 participants aged 65 and older. The goal was to see which approach more effectively improves mobility and reduces fall risk.
