Summary
This study tested a program to prevent falls in elderly patients staying in hospital. Over 1,800 people aged 65 and older took part. The program involved a team of healthcare workers teaching patients how to identify fall risks, prevent falls, and get up safely after a fall. The goal was to see if this approach reduces the number of falls and related injuries.
