Summary

This study tested two exercise programs in 111 older adults (ages 60-85) to see which better reduces fall risk and improves fitness. One group did resistance training, the other combined balance and strength exercises, both for 6 weeks. Researchers measured strength, flexibility, balance, and tracked falls for two years after training.
