New fall prevention program aims to keep seniors safe in assisted living

Summary

This study tests a fall prevention program called AL-STEADI in seven assisted living centers. About 700 residents who are at risk of falling will either receive their usual care or the AL-STEADI program. Researchers will track how many falls happen over one year to see if the program helps prevent them.
