ERs use new tech to stop seniors from falling
NCT ID NCT05846685
Summary
This study aims to understand older patients' experiences with a new automated screening tool used in emergency rooms. The tool identifies patients at high risk for future falls and allows doctors to refer them to a falls prevention clinic. Researchers are interviewing about 174 patients to learn what helps or prevents them from following through with the referral and attending the clinic.
