Can a simple education program stop stroke patients from falling?
NCT ID NCT06833580
Summary
This study tested whether a special education program could help prevent falls in people who have had a stroke. Researchers worked with 44 stroke patients, giving half of them a 6-week educational course about fall risks and prevention. They compared this group to patients who received their usual care to see if the program improved their understanding, physical function, and reduced their fear of falling.
