First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tested a fall prevention education program for people who had a stroke more than 6 months ago. The program used the Health Belief Model to teach patients about fall risks and prevention. 44 participants were split into two groups: one received the education program plus usual care, the other only usual care. The goal was to see if the program improved health literacy, physical function, and reduced fear of falling.
