First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether active, hands-on educational classes are better than traditional lectures at reducing older adults' fear of falling and preventing actual falls. About 100 people aged 60+ who have fallen in the past year will take part. They will attend either interactive or lecture-style sessions and be followed for 6 months to track falls and concerns.
