Automated alerts aim to stop Seniors' falls after ER visit

NCT ID NCT07028463

Summary

This study aims to prevent falls in older adults by automatically notifying them if they screen as high-risk during an emergency room visit. It then connects them to proven local fall prevention programs. The goal is to see if this simple, automated alert system can reduce the number of seniors who return to the ER because of another fall.
