First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study looks at two simple, drug-free ways to help manage pain during a bone marrow aspiration and biopsy. About 80 adults with cancer will either fake cough, squeeze a stress ball, or receive standard care during the procedure. They will then rate their pain on a scale of 0 to 10 to see if these distraction techniques make a difference.
