First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looked back at the medical records of 123 adults hospitalized for a brain bleed while taking a type of blood thinner called a Factor Xa inhibitor. The goal was to understand the patients' health, how the bleed was treated, and what happened to them, especially in countries where a specific reversal drug is not available. The findings may help doctors make better decisions and improve patient safety.
