Can delaying AI advice help doctors spot colon polyps better?

NCT ID NCT07158203

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study looks at how doctors use artificial intelligence (AI) during colonoscopy to find small polyps. 70 doctors will watch 100 polyp videos, with some seeing AI suggestions at the end of each video instead of right away. The goal is to see if delaying AI advice helps doctors think more carefully and make better decisions.
