Researchers probe why gum graft pain varies patient to patient

NCT ID NCT07377370

Summary

This study aims to understand why some people experience more pain than others after a common dental procedure where tissue is taken from the roof of the mouth for a gum graft. Researchers will observe 93 adult patients, collecting information about their pain levels, psychological state, and the details of their surgery over two weeks. The goal is to identify which factors most influence post-surgery pain to help tailor future patient care and improve comfort.
