Could a simple phone scan replace blood tests for diabetes?
NCT ID NCT07502690
Summary
This study aims to test a new, needle-free technology that uses a smartphone camera to scan a person's face and estimate their blood sugar levels. Researchers will compare the scan's results with standard blood tests in 300 adults in Jakarta to see if it's accurate enough for community screening. The goal is to find a simpler way to help detect diabetes risk early.
