Heart scan study seeks clues for rare disease treatment
NCT ID NCT02956954
Summary
This study aimed to see if a special type of MRI scan could measure how well a treatment works for the heart in people with Fabry disease. Researchers followed 26 patients, some receiving the treatment and some not, to track changes in their heart scans over time. The goal was to find a better marker to understand the treatment's effect on the heart.
